Welcome to Courtenay – B.C.’s most beautiful resort location – Bates Beach Oceanfront Resort is an RV & Campground resort located just north of the City of Courtenay on Georgia Strait. Bates Beach boasts beautiful tidal pools and sand bars at low tides, rocky beaches, great fishing and a gorgeous natural atmosphere.
Park Model Trailer
Our Oceanfront 50’ Park Model trailer, know as ‘The Coho’ (Unit 19) offers patio deck, with gorgeous views of the water & Coastal Mountains.
Tenting & RV Camping
Full service RV hookups, cozy and peaceful tenting sites, and a truly unique oceanfront setting, Bates Beach is a must-stop on any camping trip!
Rentals & Launch Fees
Bates Beach offers excellent kayaking opportunities - paddle South at low tide to the reef at Seal Bay, or use our boat launch to find the “Big One”.
Storm Watching
There is plenty to do at Bates Beach during the winter season. Please enquire for our low season rates as well as specials we offer every spring and fall.
